XCAV8 Plant Services provides wet - hire of high-production surface miners for civil infrastructure, mining, quarrying, pipeline, renewable energy and major earthworks projects throughout Australia and internationally.

Surface miners provide a controlled and efficient alternative to drilling, blasting, ripping and hydraulic rock breaking. They excavate rock in consistent layers while producing a crushed, manageable material that can often be loaded, transported or reused without additional processing. Their low-vibration operation makes them particularly suitable for urban projects, restricted work sites and areas close to buildings, roads, railways, pipelines and other sensitive infrastructure.

Equipped with experienced operators, GPS grade-control and optional dust-management options, our surface miners can accurately excavate to the required depth, level and profile. Applications include bulk rock excavation, benching, cut-and-fill works, road and rail corridors, tunnel floors and underpasses, basements, pipelines, data centres, renewable-energy projects, selective mining and quarry development.
